Thottils are a generally appreciated traditional way (grandma approved) for putting the tiny ones to sleep peacefully. Thottils give the little ones a cuddly feeling that mimics the mother’s womb, which cribs and beddings can’t match. The baby is soothed and sleeps better as a result of this warm and personal feeling. Thottil’s rocking motion also helps to relieve irritability. 

We did a lot of research and discovered that many of the Thottils on the market tended to lose their softness and sturdiness after a few washes and that they weren’t strong enough to support a growing baby’s weight. So, while designing these Thottil’s, we decided to make the textiles ourselves.
